lake of Hongrin is one lake artificial located in préalpes of Vaud, in Switzerland. It has the characteristic to be delimited in north by one stopping with double vault. It is located in zone soldier where the Swiss army proceeds to artillery shootings and mano?uvres of armoured tanks. Reserve has a volume of 53 million m3 for a surface of 160 hectares.

This lake is delimited by a man-made structure. I just saw on TV a documentary about The Blue Lake (Lacul Albastru) near Baia Sprie, Romania. It was formed after the collapse of a copper mine gallery, and the water from rains filled the newly created hole. So it is also an artificial lake, but with some different origin. Beautiful photos, especially the seventh, with the lake and the greenery and the sky. Like heaven on earth. The artificial lake looks so beautiful surrounded by the breathtaking landscape.
